Mary "Jennie" Nastor It is with sadness the family announces the loss of Mary “Jennie” Nastor, who passed away Thursday, May 2, 2002 at Rainycrest Home for the Aged in Fort Frances, Ont. Jennie was born in Saskatchewan to Henry and Annie Nukonoshow on Oct. 22, 1907. She was married to Peter Nastor. An avid collector, Jennie will be remembered for her gentle and giving nature. Her favourite pastime was her garden with many flowers. She also devoted many years of her life to the Salvation Army. Her sons held the most important place in her heart. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Jennie was predeceased by her husband, Peter; and by her sons, Alfred and Edward Nastor. Six brothers also predeceased her, Mike, Joe, Bill, Fred, Andy, and Gene Beck. Gene also passed away May 2, 2002. A private service will be held in Riverview Cemetery at a later date. In memoriam donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
