RICHARD CLAYTON TREFTLIN Richard Clayton Treftlin, after a short and courageous bout with illness, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002 at Scarborough General Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Sarah Isabelle; loving father of Craig (Kim), Chris (Sabrira), and Michael; wonderful grandfather to Heather and Deborah; and dear brother of Sandra Silver. Richard was predeceased by his parents, Fritz and Goldie Silver. Friends may call at the Scarborough Chapel of McDougall & Brown, 2900 Kingston Rd., on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002 from 10-11 a.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
