STURGEON, Donalda "Slim" Hugli (nee Gilbeau) In loving memory of Donalda "Slim" Hugli Sturgeon (nee Gilbeau), 82 years, who passed away peacefully, Tuesday evening, December 17th, 2002 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Beloved wife of the late Allan Hugli (predeceased 1963) and the late John Sturgeon (predeceased 1991). Loving and devoted mother to Garry Hugli (wife Carol) of Sarnia and Judy Fletcher of Sudbury (husbands Jerry Ykema and Shayne Fletcher, both predeceased). Dear step-mother to Shirley Just (husband Clayton) and Gerald Sturgeon (wife Pat) all of Sudbury. Daughter of the late George Gilbeau and Eva Dupuis both predeceased. Dear sister to Edna Austin (husband Don predeceased, special friend Frank Brown) of Sudbury, Leo Gilbeau (wife Marie) of Montreal, Stella Cavanaugh (husband Ray) of Mississauga, Joan Irewin of Toronto, Joel Gilbeau of Edmonton, Roland (Mickey) Gilbeau (predeceased) (wife Yvette of Sudbury), Ronald Gilbeau (predeceased) (wife Lauraine of Sudbury) and Diane Carson (husband Jim) of Sudbury. Sister-in-law to May Hugli (husband Jim predeceased) of Coniston and Orpha, Grace, Irene, Dorothy all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Special aunt to Elaine Brown. Cherished memare of Corey, Natalie, Tiffani, Kelly, Stacey, Corrine, Mark, Karen, Debbie, Lisa, Janice, Brian, Michael and Beverly. Beloved great-grandmother (memare) to Shayna, Dylan, Bradley, Kilah, Evan, Memphis, Shannon and Meaghan. Donalda was born in Mattawa and resided in Coniston and Sudbury. Our mother was an avid Blue Jays fan and Bingo player, she loved gardening and attending her monthly Golden Age Caruso Club dinners. She was devoted to her family, especially to her grandchildren and was "Memare" to everyone who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2003 at 3 p.m. in the R.J. Barnard Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
