Stella Irene Clark Of Glenvale passed away at home on July 16, 2002. She was 92. Stella was born the daughter of the late Thomas and Annie McConnell in Odessa. Mrs. Clark resided previously in Kingston and then moved to Glenvale in 1946. She attended school in Odessa. Stella was treasurer for several years of "Elginburg Over 50’s Club". Her special interests were her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Stella is survived by her daughter Irene Roughton (Harry), Winchester Springs; son W. Glenn Clarke (Valerie), Glenvale; daughter Freda Clarke, Elgin; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Herb Clark, sons Francis and Ford Clarke, great grandson Trevor Grodde. The Funeral was held at the Tompkins Funeral Home, Township Chapel, on July 19, 2002 with Rev. Ken Murray officiating. Pallbearers were grandsons Bob, Doug, Jim and Joe Roughton, Jim Clarke and Lyle Clarke. Interment held at Sandhill Cemetery, Battersea. 022933 7/30/2002- ID648768 - Kingston Whig Standard
