Margaret Freeburn Of Brighton, Ontario, formerly of Notch Hill Road, Kingston, passed away on July 7, 2002 at Trenton Memorial Hospital. She was in her 91st year. Margaret was born in Flinton, Ontario, the daughter of the late Geoffroy Brough and Merceline Jeanson. She lived in the Kingston area for 60 years. Margaret was a homemaker. Her special interests were her grandchildren, great grandchildren, cooking, baking, playing cards and buying lottery tickets, she was also an avid Bingo player. She is survived by her daughter Shirley McBride and husband Gordon of Brighton, ON, son Tom Freeburn and wife Pat of Belleville, ON, 12 beloved grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and her sister Eileen Dobson of Kingston. She was predeceased by her husband Jack Freeburn, daughter Bernice Dee, grandson Michael Dee and several brothers and sisters. The funeral was held on July 11, 2002. Fr. Leo Byrne officiated. Pallbearers were grandchildren Shelley Johnston, Doug Dee, Danny Dee, Randy Dee, Jeff Freeburn, Frank Dee and great grandson Nathan Hannah.
