HOGAN, Lawrence Alphonsus After a lengthy illness passed away at age 73 on August 9, 2002 at home. He was born in Blackville, New Brunswick to James and Margaret Hogan but was a resident of Kingston for over 52 years. Had been retired 11 years from being the owner of Hogan’s Building Services. He enjoyed part of several winters in sunny Florida. He will be sadly missed by his wife Arvilla, son Larry (Donna), daughters Patsy Carrigg (Dennis), and Karen Stephenson (Fred), grandson Shaun Stephenson, granddaughters Lane Hogan and Brittany Carrigg. Also survived by his sisters and brothers Betty Wood, Mary Burns, Loretta Birch, Simon Hogan, Hubert Hogan all from N.B., Beatrice Campbell from P.E.I. Predeceased by Alyousus, John and Michael. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral was held on August 12, 2002, with Monsignor Walsh officiating. Pallbearers were Ron Adamson, Dan Dee, Rod Morrison, William Twort, Walter Hodgson and Ron Vallier. Interment was at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
