Franz BANKS

Franz Banks Of Lyn, Ontario, passed away on September 19, 2002, in his 80th year. Franz was born at Kingston General Hospital, on November 21, 1922, to John and Ellen Banks of Perth Road. Mr. Banks came to the Brockville area in 1986 from Lyndhurst, where he purchased his farm in Addison. He was a heavy equipment owner/operator who never quite managed to retire completely. Mr. Banks was in General Army Service 1939-1945. The funeral was held on September 21, 2002, at the Judson Funeral Home with Reverend Katherine Powell presiding. He was laid to rest in Sand Hill Cemetery near his family. Mr. Banks is survived by his children Roger Banks of Kingston, Gail Fano of Alberta, Debbie Johnston of Kingston and Reg Banks of Frankville, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
