Eldon Harold MCALONAN

Eldon Harold McAlonan Of Helen Street, Seeleys Bay, passed away at home on September 13, 2002. He was 74. Eldon was born at The Kingston General Hospital, the son of the late Hazel Martin and Bernard McAlonan. He was raised in Seeleys Bay, then lived in Kingston for 25 years before moving back to Seeleys Bay. Eldon worked for Brinks Express for 30 years, previously he drove transport for McCallums. He had been retired for 14 years. Eldon attended school in Seeleys Bay and attended the United Church. He was a member of the ANAF Club in Kingston. Eldon enjoyed his cottage, fishing, gardening, and was an avid hockey fan - never missing a game on TV. Eldon is survived by his wife Shirley Montgomery. The funeral was held on September 16, 2002. Rev. Connie McNamara officiated. Pallbearers were Elrid Severin, Brian McCullagh, Bill Heikamp, Mike McMaster, Glen Murray and Bruce Murray.
