Percy Wilbur Reynolds Of Verona, passed away on September 30, 2002, in his 78th year. Percy was born in Bellrock on February 5, 1925 to Garnet and Estella Reynolds. He lived in Verona all his life with his wife, the late Alice Pringle. Percy served in World War 2, receiving an Honourable Discharge after being wounded in action. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 55 years. Percy worked at Alcan until his retirement. Together Percy and Alice raised 6 children on a farm in Picadilly. Percy was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was affectionately known as "Papa Moose". Percy enjoyed the outdoor life and time spent with his family. Percy’s last four years of life were enriched by his friendship with Alene Carmen, her daughter Pam and her children. Percy is survived by his children, Wayne (Judy), Gloria (Glenn), Hope, Cristene, Rick (Cindy) and 21 grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Louise Meeks (Earl), Laura Irwin, Doris Ritchie (Don), Juanita Corrigan (Leo), June Leslie-Easter (Bill), Gail Sigsworth (Danny) and a brother Neil (Theresa).
