DICKSON, Iris Sarah Lydia (nee Webb) Of Sunbury Ontario, passed away on August 27th, 2002 in her 83rd year. Iris was the daughter of the late Bentley and Evelyn Webb, born in Cornwall England February 12, 1920. At the age of 4 she with her family settled in South Porcupine, Ontario. And there remained until she met her husband Howard from Sunbury. They settled in Sunbury where she farmed with her husband and raised there 4 children. Thomas, Trevor, Brenda, and Stephen. Prior to there marriage, she worked at Alcan in Kingston. Iris’ life consisted of all her love and devotion given very generously to her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A great supporter, she was always the first to do her share to help especially with her baking for the U.C.W., W.I., A.C.W., or just for the family. She attended Inverary United Church. Pallbearers were her 5 grandsons, Tracey, Scott, and Ryan Dickson and Allan and Adam Watson and nephew Paul Dickson. She is survived by her sister Thora and brother Allan of South Porcupine Ontario. Predeceased by brother Thomas. The funeral was held August 30th, 2002 at the James Reid Chapel, with Rev. William Whiston officiating.
