MacMILLAN, Pierrette - At Parisien Manor on Thursday, November 14, 2002. The former Pierrette Lida Besner; formerly of 1304 Churchill Street; age 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Gilbert (Gibby) MacMillan. Dear mother of Donald MacMillan of Limoges and Linda MacMillan (Bob) of Cornwall. Predeceased by one daughter, Jean Whitford (wife of Maynard). Dear daughter of the late Lionel Besner and the late Clarilda Glaude. Dear sister of Paul Besner (Evelyn) of Alexandria and Mrs. Pauline Dubois of North Bay. Predeceased by three brothers, Germain, Gerard and Rolland Besner and by four sisters, Mrs. Jacqueline Eastman, Mrs. Rita Elderbroom, Mrs. Juliette St. Germain and Mrs. Rollande Richer. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (932-8482) from 7 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Monday, November 18, 2002 for Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 2 p.m. followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and from 12 Noon until time of Service on Monday. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
