GODARD, Gerald - At the Hotel Dieu Hospital on Saturday October 19, 2002. Gerald (Gerry) Godard of 1221 Fatima Street formerly of 2149 Tollgate Road; age 77 Years. Beloved husband of the former Myrtle Lalonde - Tardiff and by a previous marriage of the late Aleida Spoel. Dear father of Anthony (Tony) Godard of Cornwall. Loving grandfather of Aleesha and Anthony Jr. and great-grandfather of of Skylar, Sierra and Justin. Dear step-grandfather of 12 Step-grandchildren and 3 great-step-grandchildren. Dear son of the late Medore Godard and the late Elmire Prevost. Dear step-father of Leonard Tardiff (Andrea), Brian Tardiff (Sue), Jim Tardiff and Sharon (Mrs. Geoff Smith) all of Cornwall and Michael Tardiff (Rosemary) of Stittsville. Dear brother of Aime Godard (Alma), Medard Godard (Nicole) and Estelle (Mrs. Raymond Andre) all of Cornwall, Maurice Godard (Huguette) of Ottawa and Romauld Godard of Mallorytown. Predeceased by two brothers Romeo an Lorenzo Godard. Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch 20 Seventh Street West (932-8482) from 2 p.m. Monday Funeral Tuesday October 22, 2002 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis de Sales Church at 11:30 a.m. followed by Cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral on Tuesday. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. All members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 297 and Ladies Auxiliary are requested to assemble at the Funeral Home on Monday October 21, 2002 at 7:30 p.m. for the Legion Tribute for our late Comrade Gerry Godard Legion Dress and Medals
