Dear mother of Colette Fournier (Gilles Bazinet) and Maurice Fournier both of Cornwall. Loving grandmother of Eric Laporte of Ottawa and Marc Fournier of Cornwall and great-grandmother of Tyler Fournier. Dear daughter of the late Victor Desforges and the late Julienne Boisvenue. Dear sister of Lucien Desforges (Suzanne Auclair), Aline (Mrs. Jean Noel Parthenais), Lucille (Mrs. Jacques Dagenais), Jeannette (Mrs. Hubert Dagenais), Yvonne (Mrs. Carm Aube), Rejeanne (Mrs. Ray MacMillan) and Cecile (Mrs. James O’Neil) all of Cornwall. Predeceased by three brothers, Henri, Leo and Rolland Desforges. Dear sister-in-law of Mrs. Rejeanne Martel, Mrs. Madeleine Desforges and Mrs. Lucille Desforges all of Cornwall. Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East (933-2841) from 2 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Thursday, August 22, 2002 for Mass of Christian Burial in Nativity Co-Cathedral at 10 a.m. Interment, Parish Cemetery. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 8:30 a.m. until time of Funeral on Thursday. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
