Beloved husband of the former Laura Sayyeau. Dear father of Lee Sawinski (Marjorie) of Calgary, Alberta, Linda (Mrs. Hector Woods) of Brockville, Paula (Mrs. Joseph McLean) of Kanata and Karen (Mrs. Norman Hickman) of Williamstown. Predeceased by one daughter, Darlene. Loving grandfather of James (Sandy), Tania (Doug), Lara, Leah, Amber, Jessica and Kristy. Dear son of the late Jacob (Jake) Sawinski and the late Elizabeth Hunter. Dear brother of John Sawinski (June) of Massena, New York, Norman Sawinski (Norma) of Martintown, Mrs. Mary McCartney of Oshawa, Mrs. Therese Cook of Florida and Rogene (Mrs. Theodore Boileau) of Syracuse, New York. Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (932-8482) from 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Monday, August 12, 2002 for Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral on Monday.
