Veronica Gertrude SAUNDERS

DECARIE, VERONICA (VERNA) & FULTON, FRED (PAPA) The deaths of Veronica (Verna) Gertrude Decarie and Fred (Papa) Franklin Fulton occurred Sunday, April 24th, 2005 at their home in Minto. Verna, born in Halifax, NS was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Hausmann) Saunders. She is survived by 3 sons, David (Cindy) of White Rock, BC, Tony (Judy) of Montreal, PQ and Roy (Carmel) of Melbourne, Australia; a daughter, Sandra (Larry) of Waterville, NS; grandchildren, Daniel, Casandra, Lucas and Jeremy; a brother, Charles Saunders (Jude) of Halifax, NS and 2 nephews, Christopher and Jonathan. In addition to her parents, Verna was predeceased by her daughter Beverly Martin. Papa Fred, born in Minto, NB was the son of the late Frank and Amber (Austin) Fulton. He is survived by a son, Duke (Mary) of Saint John; a daughter, Debbie (Pat) of Minto; grandchildren Frederick (Tammy), Melanie, (HD) Harvey (Tanya), (CJ) Frederick and Rachelle; great grandchildren, Michelle and Alicia; sisters Marilyn Richardson (Marven), Shirley Dufour and Vivian Ferris (Francis) all of Minto; Verna Boyne (Art) of Salmon Creek and Martha Demmings (Woody) of Moncton as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Fred was predeceased by his first wife Mildred McKeil in 1991; 2 brothers, Roy and Harold; a sister Alice Taylor. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home 327-3490 where the family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 2pm-9pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 4th, 2005 from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Minto with Rev. Gill Todd officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
