Frances DICKINSON

PELKEY, FRANCES (DICKINSON) The death of Frances (Dickinson) Pelkey of New Maryland, formerly of Gordonsville, occurred on May 2, 2005 at the age of 83. Born in Simonds, Carleton Co., N.B., she was the daughter of the late Carey and Myrtle (McFarland) Dickinson. Frances was a life-time member of the Women's Institute and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Survived by one daughter, Lois Clark (Darrell) of Douglas; two sons, Howard Pelkey (Louella) of Royal Road, and Weldon Pelkey of Georgetown, ON; one brother, Bernard Dickinson (Mona) of Simonds, NB; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Frances was predeceased by husband, Roy; one brother, Ronald Dickinson; two sisters, Mildred Bell and Alice Craig. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road where visitation will be held Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Faith Baptist Church, New Maryland on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Larry Matthews officiating.
