TREEN, CYRIL JAMES "CY" It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cyril J. Treen of Oromocto, NB, on Monday, May 2nd, 2005. Born in East Wentworth, NS on June 13th, 1927, he was the son of the late James Earl and Ethel (Campbell) Treen and husband of the late Jessie (Forsythe) Treen. Cy completed 20 years with the Canadian Armed Forces with RCEME. Later in life, he was a driver for Meals on Wheels and he loved listening to country music, bowling at Kingswood with other Seniors and playing poker. Cy is survived by his children, Trudy Pickering (Bob) of Lincoln, NB, Vicki Treen of Geary, NB, Wendy Andrews (Ralph) of Calgary, AB, Donald Treen (Melinda) of Hoyt, NB and Tanya Treen-Monks (Thomas "TK") of Woburn, Mass.; five grandchildren, Adrienne, Jessie, Raina, Nathaniel and Damon; sister, Patsy Timmins and niece, Amber. He was predeceased by his wife, Jessie, and his parents. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 4th, 2005 from 7-9 pm. The memorial service will take place on Thursday, May 5th, 2005 at 2:00 pm from the Oromocto United Church. Rev. Margie Patterson and Rev. Bob Jones officiating. Interment will take place at the Geary, French Lake, Waterville Cemetery at a later date.
