E. Harold BRANSCOMBE

E. Harold Branscombe Emery Harold (Hal) Branscombe, 74, of Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital, Tuesday, May 3, 2005, after a brief illness. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Clarence and Ella (Hall) Branscombe. Harold was a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces. Harold retired after 11 years service with Corrections Canada and then worked as Custodian at Mountainview United Church. Harold will be sadly missed by his wife, Jean (Dole); daughters, Donna McCarthy (Michael), Hantsport, NS, Cindy Marble (Bill), Porter's Lake, NS, sons, Douglas, Halifax, NS, Gary (Karen), Moncton; eight grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Bolley, Brandon, Manitoba, Aileen Hardcastle, Calgary, Alberta; brothers, Clair (Dorothy), Peterborough, ON, Warren (Wyn), Kingston, ON; several nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by brother Kenneth. There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton (858-1995), Thursday, May 5, 1:30 pm, Rev. Paul Cumming officiating. Reception following the service.
