Very Reverend Father Djuro Vukelich April 29, 1911 - May 02, 2005 Funeral arrangements by L. G. Wallace Funeral Home Peacefully, with his family by his side, at Macassa Lodge, on Monday, May 2, 2005, The Very Reverend Father Vukelich passed away, at the age of 94. Beloved husband of 65 years of the late Mara Vukelich. Loving father of Radoslava (Cica) and her late husband Predrag of Chicago, and Neboisha (Bob) and his wife Dawn of Burlington. Dear grandfather of Ljubomir and wife Milica Cemovich, Nada and husband Avery Stirratt, and Sonia Vukelich. Great-grandfather of Danica, Predrag and George Cemovich. He will be sadly missed by many family and friends in Canada and abroad. Father Vukelich was the Dean of the Serbian Orthodox Diocese in Canada and former Parish Priest of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church for over 45 years. Visitation will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, 1415 Barton St. E., on Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. Pomen at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Very Reverend Father Vojislav Pavlovic officiating. Interment Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, Grayslake, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church would be appreciated by the family.
