Irene Toffin (née Zahara) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Toffin on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at the Woman’s Centre in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas. She leaves to mourn her passing, Colleen, Gary, Keith and Leanne Farnworth, family and friends in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, and the United States. The family would like to thank Doctors Krepart, Lotocki, Heywood, Al Jassar, and Corbett, as well as the nurses and staff of the fifth floor for their care and support. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road. Interment will be held in Green Acres Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
