Hunter Larry James Swain August 30, 2003 - April 30, 2005 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved little Hunter. On April 30, 2005, at the age of 20 months, The Lord called our darling “Chucky” home. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Percy and Emerance; sisters, Naomi, Michelle and Avery; brother, Cole; grandmothers, Maria Swain and May McDonald; great-great-grandmother Esther Berens; great-grandfather John McDonald; aunts, Brenda (Lindsay), Wanda (Francis), Mabel (Gerald), Rachel (Edward), Suzie, Lorrie (Arthur), Muriel (Harvey), Suzanne (Clarence), Olivia and Sonya (Ezra); uncles, Langford (Tracy), Doyle (Maureen), Mark, Lemuel (Ernestine), Shelly (Lorna), Kevin (April), Norman (Melvina), Delmar and Greg; and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, James Swain on July 24, 2000 and Larry McDonald on March 19, 2003; and aunt Lorna Swain on June 23, 2003. Though his stay upon the earth was brief, he touched the lives of those around him. He had a smile that literally lit up his face. Every weekend he went to stay at GOGO’s home. He was GOGO’s “Little Sleepmate”, Rachel and Suzie’s “Little Treasure.” He had no lack as Rachel and Suzie saw to it that he had everything he needed and much more. He enjoyed watching the Treehouse Channel, bath time, going for strolls, going for a ride (he loved to go “BAB-BAB=BYE-BYE”) and he loved to eat (his favorite fruit was oranges - it didn’t matter how big the orange was he would finish it). “Verily I say unto you, “Whosoever shall not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein” St. Mark 10:15 Wake services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, Wednesday, May 4, and Thursday, May 5 at the Revival and Restoration Church, Berens River Manitoba. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 6 at 12 noon also at the Revival and Restoration Church with Pastor Maria Swain officiating. Interment to follow at Berens River Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be James Hudson, Ivan Swain, Corey Green and Samuel Swain. Active pallbearers will be Kevin Green, Norman McKay Jr., Mark Swain and Shelly Swain. “Hunter, Even though you were with us for just a short time, you leave us with a lifetime of memories we will cherish forever. We know we will never see you again in this world - we will strive to go where you’re at. We will always love you and we will miss you terribly.” Love Mom, Dad and siblings Aboriginal Funeral Chapel 724 Selkirk Ave. 586-7700 Friends and family are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.obituariestoday.com If you wish to send flowers online please visit Flowers Canada As published in the WINNIPEG SUN
