Doug Staurt Hamilton, Sr. February 25, 1933 - April 28, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Howard & McBride Chapel of Chimes It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and brother, Doug, on April 28, 2005, at the age of 72. Doug is survived by his three children, Kerry (Ian), Jan (Jamie), and Doug (Dea), all of Edmonton; four grandchildren, David and Sean MacGregor, and Kyle and Lyndsay Hamilton; sisters, Sal Doolan and Bessie O’Brien of Vancouver, Nancy Beachboard of Port Hueneme CA, and Jean (Jim) Butchart and brother, John (Barb), both of Edmonton. He was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine, in 1996; mother, Elizabeth; father, Frank; and sisters, Meta Evans and Olive Mills. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 5, 2005, at 2:30 P.M. at Howard and McBride Chapel of Chimes, 10179-108 St, Edmonton, Alberta. Doug was a dedicated firefighter for twenty-eight years and retired in 1991. Donations may be made in Doug’s name to The Firefighters Burn Treatment Society, #1 7024-101 Ave., Edmonton, T6A 0H7.
