Margaret Amelia Ginn (née Grant), R.N. January 11, 1917 - May 02, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) GINN (Grant), Margaret Amelia, R.N. - 88, Dartmouth, passed away May 2, 2005, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Stewiacke, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Elizabeth Grant. Margaret was a graduate from the Halifax Infirmary before joining Royal Canadian Medical Corps as a medical nurse. She was a 50 year member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and the CWL. Margaret is survived by her husband of 61 years, Thomas; sons, John (Laura Lee), Roy (Gail), both of Dartmouth; Roger (Karen), Toronto; David (Terry), Edmonton; daughters, Margaret (Gordon) Pelly, St. John's, NL; Jennette, Prince George, B.C.; Betty Ann (Ross) Hartlen, Patricia, both of Dartmouth; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Harold; daughter, Helen; brothers, John Grant and Gordon Grant; sister, Annie Gibbons. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral mass 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Father Irek Bem officiating. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Donations may be made in Margaret's memory to Canadian Diabetes Association. Special thanks to the staff of 3 East at Dartmouth General Hospital and to caregiver, Cathy Robitaille.
