Beloved husband of Mary Buckner (nee Braithwaite) . Son of the late Alexander and Gertrude Buckner. Loving father of Kathryn Ulrich (Tom Bradner) of Seattle, Washington, Beth Courtland (Michael) of Belleville, Patricia Doberstein (Dennis) of High River, Alberta, Ann Daly (Terry) of Weston, Ct., Alexandra Anderson (George) of Whitby. Dear brother of the late Douglas W. Buckner. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Doug, Rebecca, Bob, Dan, Jeff, Mark, Bill, Thomas, Alyson, Brendan, Brianna, Leland, Laura, Victoria, Madicyn and great grandfather of Emma. Bob was born and educated in Windsor, graduated from U. of W.O. He started his working career with the Ford Motor Company in Oakville, then spent 23 years with Kenworth trucks in Vancouver & St. Therese. At 58 he retired as President of Canadian Kenworth to a rewarding 20 years of joyous living on a farm in Manotick. He was an active founding member of the Manotick Lions Club. The family is grateful for the loving care of the staff of the B.G.H.
