URQUHART, ALVIN MILES - The death of Alvin M. Urquhart, age 85, husband of the late Viola (Willigar) Urquhart, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital Ridgewood Veterans Wing in South Bay, NB on Friday, May 6, 2005. Alvin was the son of the late Martin P. and Lenora May (VanWart) Urquhart. Alvin was predeceased by his first wife Gwynneth (Bond) Urquhart, and is survived by his daughter Andrea and Roger Sinclair of England, three grandchildren Russell Scott Emery, Bradley Miles Emery, and Saslia Nandine Sinclair, one brother Harry Urquhart, Norton, two sisters Hazel and Ivan Mott, Sussex, Christina and Miles Craft, Crafts Cove, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by two brothers Earl and Deverne, sisters Bertha, Ruby and Rowena. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting, Sunday, 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be from Sherwood's Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2005. Interment will be in the Orange Cemetery, Kars, NB. Memorials to the NB Heart and Stroke Fund would be appreciated by the family.
