Irene Maxine Johnson April 12, 1944 - May 04, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Lindsay Funeral Home Irene Maxine Johnson, age 61, of Oshawa, Ontario, formerly of Newport Station, Hants County, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 in the Ajax-Pickering Hospital, Oshawa. Born on April 12, 1944, in Windsor, Hants County, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy Havelock Johnson Sr. and Margaret (States) Johnson. She is survived by daughters, Tara Johnson, Toronto, Ontario; Tyra Johnson, Oakville, Ontario; grandchildren, William, Rian, Desiree and Hunter Johnson; sisters, Laxie Johnson, Newport Station; Leota Upshaw, Newport Station; Patricia Allison (Tim), Three Mile Plains; Clara Johnson (Peter Gittens), Ajax, Ontario; brothers, LeRoy (Gloria), Windsor; Dwight (Betty), Falmouth; Roddy (Shirley Croxen), Toronto, Ontario; Terry “TJ” (Lisa Rose), Windsor; Randy, London, Ontario; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts and uncles. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Edward and George in infancy; also a infant sister, Beryl. Visitations 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, May 9, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. Funeral service will be held, 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2005, in the Windsor Plains Baptist Church, Three Mile Plains, with Rev. Moses Adekola officiating. Interment in the Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor.
