Wilfred Lawrence Bruce It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Wilfred Lawrence Bruce on May 4, 2005 at the tender age of 20 years. Wilfred will be sadly missed by his mother; Trudy Bouchie (Raymond), father; Christopher Paul, five sisters; Cassandra, Suzette, Clarissa, Amanda and Trina, two brothers; William and Christopher Jr., one stepsister; Vickie, 2 stepbrothers; Rayland and Patrick, grandmother; Mary Bruce, great grandmother; Maggie Paul, seven aunties; Caroline (Arnold) Bittern, Sheila (Willie) Bruce, Pauline (Darrell) Fosseneuve, Lena Houle, Deanna (Cameron) Paul, Eleanor (Roger) Paul and Perlyn Mitchell, three uncles; Marcel (Melinda) Bruce, Clifford (Ruth) Bruce and Louie Paul. There are numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and friends. Wilfred will also be sadly missed by his special friends in Berens River, Lester and Margaret Everette and their siblings whom Wilfred considered as his own brothers and sisters; Hartley, Nazene, Vanessa and Cheyenne. Wilfred was predeceased by his grandfather Wilfred Bruce (1983), grandparents; William Jr. and Madeline Paul (1986), great grandparents; Lawrence and Esther Bruce, William and Caroline Keam, James and Evelyn Bruce and William Paul Sr., auntie Suzette Bruce and uncle Sherman Paul. Prayers and wake services will be held on Friday, May 6 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg, Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 at Poplar River Community Church. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Poplar River Community Church, Poplar River Manitoba with Rev. Allan Sinclair officiating. Interment to follow at the Poplar River Community Cemetery.
