Nicholas "Nick" Trakalo May 26, 1919 - May 05, 2005 TRAKALO, Nicholas (Nick) 85 years, May 5, 2005, in London. Beloved husband of 59 years to Agnes. Dearest father of Mary Ann Freker and her husband Doug. Beloved grandfather of Jacqueline Krantz and her husband David, Colleen, Erin, and Laurie. Dear great grandfather to Scott. Predeceased by sisters Anne and Mary and two brothers Morris and Larry. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Nick was a Tunnel Bus Driver for 43 years and a lifetime member of The Knights of Columbus Council 4386. He was a long timer member of the Ushers Club of St. Gabriel's Church. Visitation will be held from 2-5 and 7-9pm Sunday May 8 at Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave . Parish prayers Sunday at 3pm and Knights of Columbus prayers at 7pm. Family and friends are requested to meet for further visitation at St. Gabriel's Church on Monday, May 9 from 9:30am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association. A tree will be planted in memory of Nick Trakalo in the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Heritage Forest.
