FAIRWEATHER, LORNA JEAN (BRANSCOMBE) Peacefully at her home in Cumberland Bay, on Monday, May 9th, 2005 Lorna Jean (Branscombe) Fairweather passed away at 63 years of age. Born in Chipman on July 30th, 1941 the daughter of the late Hazen and Maude (Boyd) Branscombe. Survived by her husband Alvin Fairweather; by sons, Brian (Joanne) of Riverview, Barry (Holly) and Bradley (Lynn) of Cumberland bay; by daughter Karen (Paul) Wright of Miramichi; by brother Sterling Branscombe of Chipman; by sister Glenna (Malcolm) McNamara of Hardwood Ridge and by grandchildren Jordan, Cory, Laura, Rachel and Felicia. Predeceased by sister Sara Branscombe, infant sister Geraldine and by brothers Clayton and Douglas Branscombe. Lorna was a member of Saint Augustine's Anglican Church, the A.C.W., Cumberland Bay Women's Institute and the Senior Citizens Club. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Wednesday when funeral services will be held from Saint Augustine's Anglican Church, Chipman, at 2 pm with Rev. Eileen Irish officiating. Interment in the Cumberland Bay Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Augustine's Church would be appreciated by the family. [Daily Gleaner]
