Darlene Amanda Dunphy June 17, 1988 - May 07, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) DUNPHY, Darlene Amanda - 16, Lake Echo, passed away suddenly May 7, 2005, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Paul and Heather (Ogilvie) Dunphy. Darlene was a Grade 11 honour student at Eastern Shore District High School and was a Sergeant in the 2741 Eastern Marine RCACC. She worked part-time at Clark's Convenience Store in Lake Echo. Darlene was an avid baseball fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and the New York Yankees. She was a special friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are her loving parents, Paul and Heather; siblings, Michael, Kathryn and Kevin, all at home; maternal grandmother, Eula Ogilvie; paternal grandmother, Shirley Dunphy; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Arrangements entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where visitation will take place 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, with funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Patricia Malin officiating. Reception to be held in Atlantic Funeral Home Reception Centre. Cremation to follow and private family burial to take place at a later date in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
