NEIL, MARGARET - The death of Margaret Neil, widow of Herman Neil occurred in Newfoundland on Sunday, May 8, 2005. Born in Saint John, NB. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Annie (Hodgin) Lanigan. She is survived by four children, Jane (Jim) Henry of Texas; Joan (Glenn) Roach, Barrie, ON; John (Arleen) Neil, Upper Island Cove, Nfld; Nancy (Rod) Thomas of England; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Chris (Shirley) Lanigan, Lee Lanigan of Windsor, ON; two sisters, Ann (Frank) O'Keefe, Theresa (Murray) Northorp of Saint John, NB; Sister-in-laws, Evelyn (Comeau) Lanigan, Dorothy (Murphy) Lanigan, Connie (Noel) Lanigan. Margaret is predeceased by brothers, Francis, Joseph, Robert, Edmund, and sisters, Elieen Liedstrom, Marion, Dickie, and Elsie Seely. Several nieces and nephews. Resting at Young's Funeral Home in Spainards Bay, Nfld. Services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 2:30pm at Holy Redeemer Church in Spainards Bay, Nfld. [Telegraph-Journal]
