Kathryn P. GRAVES

HANDELAND (GRAVES) KATHRYN P. - Died peacefully at the SJRH on May 12, 2005. Born October 7th, 1930 at the St. Joseph Hospital, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Maisie Graves and wife of Clarence G. Handeland of Quispamsis, formerly of Blacks Harbour. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter Amdal Jane Cyr (Handeland), two beautiful grandchildren; Kristen Joseph and Leif Erica Cyr of Quispamsis, five sisters; Marjorie Broaders of Quispamsis, Vella Bowers (George) of Miss., Ont, Barbara Watts of Weston, Ont., Ruth Orsetta of Peterbrough, Ont., Nancy Allen (Donald) of Saint John and a special sister Joy Keith of Saint John. Also survived by two brothers; Raymond Graves of Saint John and Murray Graves of Oromocto as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister; Mildred McCormick, two brothers; Stanley and Parker Graves. Kathryn was a member of Calvary Temple on Sydney St. and a member of the Rothesay Baptist Seniors Club 60. She was employed at Eastern Bakeries Limited from 1961 to 1993 in the Accounting Dept. under the direction of Glen Gibbons and Craig Parker. A close co-worker was Anne Pearl McCluskey. She spent two years at Zion Bible Institute RI. and a graduate of Emmanual Bible College having worked under several ministers in Maine and NB. She loved to vacation in Maine and many of her friends and ministers who also trailered in Maine became a big part of her summer activities. Kathryn loved missions and worked wherever needed, home or abroad. A private graveside service and internment will be held on Saturday at Cedarhill Ext. Cemetery. A memorial service will take place on Saturday May 21 at 1:30 pm at the Full Gospel Assembly followed by a reception. Arrangements under the direction of A. W.
