Kathleen Laura Fowler July 26, 1929 - May 13, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Fair Haven Funeral Home Kathleen “Kaye” Laura Fowler, 75, of Moncton passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, May 13th, 2005 in the presence of her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born at Indian Mountain she was the daughter of the late Orvil and Gladys (Randall) Fisher. Kaye was a former Eaton’s employee and in the 1960’s kept a boarding house on Cameron Street for NB Power linesmen. Kaye was a terrific cook and her home was always a gathering place to enjoy great food and fellowship. She loved people, especially her family and loved to travel, making many friends throughout Canada and the USA. She attended Moncton Wesleyan Church and was a lady who expressed great faith in her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Kaye will be sadly missed by her husband of 56 years, John E. Fowler, sons Carl (Vickie), Mark (Dianne); daughters, Brenda Gillis (Peter) and Susan Cann (John) all of Moncton. Seven grandchildren, Aaron Fowler, Ottawa; Shelley Hopper (Jeffery), Natalie Sorrey (Ryan), Rebecca Davis (Andrew), Thomas Cann, twins Mark and James Cann; one great grandson Mark Davis, all of Moncton; sister, Elida Horsman (Harold), Moncton, brothers Wilfred Fisher (Dorothy), McLaughlin Road; Sherman Fisher (Mae), Dundas, Sterling Fisher (Dale), Cole Harbour, N.S.; close cousins, Mary Didychuk (John), Dundas, Elsie Horseman (Roy), Moncton, Edith Black (Victor), Sussex; several nieces and nephews and many close friends. Predeceased by her father Orvil (2004), her mother, Gladys (1999); sister Hazel Bell (1983); infant sister, Eleanor (1948); infant brother, Dennis (1947). Visitation at Fair Haven Funeral Home 1177 Salisbury Road Moncton, on Monday, May 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Chet MacPhail officiating. Internment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) or (Extra Mural), or to a memorial of choice would be appreciated by the family.
