Daniel Warnell October 12, 1916 - March 17, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) WARNELL, Daniel - 88, Halifax, passed away March 17, 2005, in the VG Site, QEII. He was a son of the late Seymour and Martha Warnell. Daniel served overseas in the Canadian Armed Forces in the Second World War with the Nova Scotia Highlanders. After the war he worked at the Halifax Waterfront until his retirement. Daniel is survived by wife, Jean; brothers, Austin, Dartmouth; Philip, Toronto; many nieces and nephews; stepchildren, Cathleen, Robert, and Linda. He was predeceased by son, Mark; brothers, Herbert and Gordon; sister, Emma, and stepdaughter Beverly. Cremation has taken place. In accordance with his wishes, a private family graveside memorial will take place on Tuesday, March 22, in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Donations in Daniel's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
