Margaret SOPER

Soper: Margaret "Ruth" 1922 - 2005 Margaret "Ruth" Soper passed away on February 3, 2005 at the Drumheller Health Centre. Ruth was born April 23, 1922 in Davidson, Sask. She settled in Drumheller in 1951 with her husband Frank. Ruth was very involved with her music and oil painting. For many years she enjoyed playing the organ for the Ladies of the Eastern Star, the Senior Citizen Home, plus filling in for any church needing an organist. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Sarah & Alex, brothers, Jack, Billy, sister Thelma. Ruth is survived by her loving husband Frank, daughters, Margaret (Pat) Schaffer, Patricia Rovere (Allan Brunsdale), Barbara Soper (Dave Sainsbury), son, Gary (Darlene) Soper, sister Eleanor Roszell, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Ruth were held Monday February 7, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. from the Knox United Church with Rev. Jan Stevenson officiating. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation. Courtney-Winter?s Funeral Homes were in care of the arrangements.
