Archibald: Douglas (Doug) 1937 - 2005 Doug Archibald passed away peacefully at the Drumheller Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Jack (Peggy) of Mirror, AB, Daun (Annette) of Delburne; and sister Joan Janzen of Drumheller; his eight nieces and nephews and their families; plus his extended family at the Youngstown home where he had resided for the past 24 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Jack (Peggy) of Mirror, AB, Daun (Annette) of Delburne; and sister Joan Janzen of Drumheller; his eight nieces and nephews and their families; plus his extended family at the Youngstown home where he had resided for the past 24 years. While living there, Doug had a very special caseworker, Debbie Laughlin, who fulfilled his love of rodeo and hockey by taking him to rodeos in Las Vegas, Edmonton and others. Doug was predeceased by his mother Rose (1998), brother Jim (1999), and brother-in-law Ed Janzen (1981).
