Pearl Catherine Sinclair 1907 - 2005 Pearl Catherine Sinclair, 97, of Alma passed away on May 15, 2005 at the Forest Dale Home, Riverside-Albert after a brief illness. Pearl was born on December 11, 1907 in Saint John, NB, the daughter of the late William and Catherine "Cassie" (Parsons) Rolfe. Pearl was a member of the Alma Baptist Church. She was a school teacher and enjoyed teaching for all of her life. She took great pride in helping young people learn and was very dedicated to education in the Albert County area. She was an active member of her community and was always there when she was needed. Pearl was also an avid gardener and spent many hours in her garden. She was a very special lady and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her son, Melvin Sinclair (Edna) of Halifax, NS; sister, Flossie Butland of Saint John; her grandson, Desmond Sinclair of Lower Vaughan, NS; and by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Earl Sinclair; and several brothers and sisters. She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at 2pm. The Interment will be held in the Alma United Cemetery, Alma, NB. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further sharing of memories and refreshments at the funeral home.
