ANDERSON, ARDIE RICHARD With great sadness, we announce the passing of Ardie Richard Anderson, peacefully at home on Saturday, May 14, 2005, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Burns and Tillie (Regan) Anderson. Ardie loved the outdoors and was an avid sports and Nascar fan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, softball and hockey. For many years, Ardie coached hockey with the Stanley Minor Hockey Association and enjoyed playing in the Industrial League. Ardie thoroughly enjoyed "Poker Night" with his friends, and will be remembered by many friends but none more then his great friend "Sook". Left to cherish their memories are his loving wife, best friend, his "Rock" Elizabeth (Breau) Anderson, the pride of his life, his children Heidi Anderson (David Flynn) of Cross Creek, NB; his sons Burns (Melanie) Anderson of Melfort, SK and Hank Anderson of English Settlement NB; "Honourary Grampie" to Cody and Madison; five brothers George (Joyce) of Stanley NB, Thurman (Carole) of Taymouth NB, Melvin (Anne) of Taymouth NB, Millen (Joan) of Stanley NB and Ken (Denise) of Stanley NB; six sisters Mary O'Hara of Stanley NB, Winnie (Charles) Duguay of Stanley NB, Lillian Wall of Fredericton NB, Darlene Goodine of Stanley NB, Juanita (Linden) Green of Stanley NB and Charlotte (Ronald) Hay of Stanley NB; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters Audrey O'Hara and Flora Douglass; two nephews Carney O'Hara and Luke Walcer; one brother in law Roy O'Hara. Visitation will be on Monday May 16, 2005 at the Cross Creek Baptist Church from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held from the Cross Creek Baptist Church on Tuesday at 2pm with Rev. Gordon Mowry officiating. Burial will follow in the Cross Creek Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Goodine, Larry Walcer, Nicky Green, Billy Wilson, Troy Anderson and Luke Anderson. For those who wish remembrances, to the Just Friends Food Bank or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
