GAVEL, CLARENCE WENTWORTH - Passed away in Villa St. Joseph du Lac on May 14, 2005. Born in Richfield, he was the son of the late George and Cleta (Cosman) Gavel. Surviving are his sons, Richard (Dawn), Saint John, N.B.; Larry, Cornwall, Ont.; grandson, Adam Gavel, and granddaughter, Beth Gavel, both of Saint John, N.B. He is also survived by brothers, Enos (Anne), Walton; James (Marlene), Kearney, Ont.; sisters, Helen (Jack) Egan, Cheboque Point; Miriam Somers, North Rangel, Digby Co.; Catherine Goyer, Yarmouth; Marilyn (Keith) Harding, Richfield. He was predeceased by his first wife, Helen Wright, and second wife, Jean Lordon; brothers, Edward and Glen; sisters, Edna Pineo, Elsie Higgins, Joyce Howie, Marguerite Macdonald. He was employed with Parker D. Mitchell Ltd., Saint John, N.B., for over 30 years until returning to Nova Scotia where he was self-employed until retirement.
