Margaret Mary Land-Halbgewachs (née Whelton) November 03, 1930 - May 16, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) LAND-HALBGEWACHS (Whelton), Margaret Mary - 74, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 16, 2005, at her home in Brooklyn. Born in New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Gladys (St. Pierre) Whelton. She is survived by her husband, David Halbgewachs; son, David Land, Stratford, Ont.; daughter, Donna (Land) Hoskin (John), Lori (Land) Auton (Steve); grandchildren, Andrew, Peter, Amanda, Jordan, Talitha, Timothy and Jeffrey. She was also blessed with stepchildren, Gary (Myrna) Halbgewachs, Susan (David) Brawn, Heather Halbgewachs and Greg Halbgewachs; stepgrandchildren, Krista, Katelyn, Tyler, Derrick and Sara. She was predeceased by her first husband, Frank Land (Montreal, Que.). Margaret was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a blessing to all who knew her. Visitation will be in Atlantic Funeral Home, Sackville Drive, Wednesday, May 18, 7-9 p.m. with funeral service in Rock Church, Sackville on Thursday, May 19, at 1 p.m., reception to follow. Interment will be in Oakridge Memory Gardens, Sackville. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be given to the Rock Church Missions Fund or Canadian Cancer Society.
