Albert Kuenstler August 22, 1919 - May 16, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Glen Eden Funeral Home (Winnipeg) Peacefully, on May 16, 2005, our dear father, grandfather and great-grandfather went home to be with his Lord. He was predeceased by his wife Ida in 2003 and one infant son Paul. Left with countless and precious memories are his sons Wally (Elfriede), Harry (Arlene), and daughters Rita (Gary Streuber), and Erna (Bernie Poschwatta), ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a brother Hermann and sister Adele Preuss, both in Germany. Albert was born in Poland on August 22, 1919 and immigrated to Canada in 1953 with his wife, Ida and sons. He spent most of his working years with Dorwin Industries where he was valued as a skilled serviceman. His deep faith and devotion to his Lord was an example to his family and friends. He was an active member of Rowandale Baptist Church where he served in various capacities as long as he was able. Special thanks to Dr. R. Martens and the staff at Donwood Manor for their exceptional kindness and care, and to all those who enriched Albert’s life with their time, thoughts and visitations. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2005 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. with viewing one-half hour prior to the service.
