Helen Ruth MacDuff 1941-2005 HILLSBOROUGH, NB - Helen Ruth MacDuff, 64, of Hillsborough passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at the Moncton Hospital . Helen was born on January 17, 1941 in Albert Mines, the daughter of the late Charles and Doris (Smith) Fenton. Helen enjoyed the outdoors and especially liked hunting, fishing and camping. She curled with the Sackville Curling Club and coached High School curling. Helen worked as a cook for many years, at the Village Pub and the Chris Rock Tavern, and worked the last few years for the Hillsborough Kiwanis. She will be deeply missed by her mother, Doris Fenton; three children, Heather Maschio (Mark) of Winnipeg, Linda Burrell (Charles) of Osborne Corner, Darren MacDuff (Danielle) of British Columbia; four brothers Wilfred Fenton (Helen) of Riverside-Albert, Vaughn Fenton (Susan) of Edgett's Landing, Jerry Fenton (Sandra) of Orillia, Ontario, Michael Fenton (Amy) of Albert Mines; two sisters, Kathy Edson (Art) of Riverview, Marilyn Patterson (Bob) of Hopewell Cape; three grandchildren Lonnie, Jordon and James; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her husband, James MacDuff and brother, Roy Fenton. She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Friday, May 20, 2005 at 2pm with Pastor Leonard Geldart officiating. Interment will be held in the Green Hill Cemetery, Edgett's Landing. Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape, NB 734-2780 [Times & Transcript]
