BREWER, DONALD HENRY The death of Donald "Donnie" Henry Brewer, husband of Eileen (Estey) Brewer, of Burtt's Corner, NB, occurred on May 17, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 27, 1938 in Burtt's Corner, NB, he was a son of the late Henry Brewer and Gwendolyn (Allen) Burtt and her husband Roy Burtt. Donald was a Forklift operator for Atlantic Wholesalers for about 28 years. He was affiliated with the Church of Christ, a Volunteer Firefighter for the Burtt's Corner Fire Department, and a member of the Oromocto Legion. He enjoyed Hunting, Camping and Fishing; especially salmon. Donald is survived by his son Beverly Brewer; his daughter Bonnie Brewer; half-brother Floyd Brewer (Leona); his special friend who was more like a brother, Lionel Davis and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Keith and Larry Brewer; and two sisters, Yvonne Yeo and Henrietta Brewer. Visitation will take place Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Church of Christ. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 19th, 2005 at 2 pm from the Church of Christ with Pastor Graham Crandall officiating. Pallbearers are Dave Brennan, Dennis Brewer, Allen Yeo, Lester Brewer, Fred Boyne and John Foss. Interment will follow at Burtt's Corner Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
