Born in Tangier, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (Clattenburg) Myers. Gladys is survived by her daughter, Glady Brown, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Cindy (Fred) Farrell, Dartmouth; Michael Brown, Dartmouth; Tim (Darlene) Hodgson, Lake Echo; Debbie (Monte) Groutage, California; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Josh, Taylor, Adam Farrell, Garrett and Sarah Hodgson; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Capt. Cyril J. Urquhart; son, Edward; daughter, Joan Hodgson; sisters, Nona Stubbs, Jessie Sullivan, Amy Cooke, Mildred Lohnes, Adelia Dodge, Deveda Dodge. Arrangements entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. Funeral service 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Atlantic Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
