Survived by his wife, Wilma (McKay) McCartney, two sons, Richard (Candy) McCartney, Theodore McCartney, one daughter, Lynette McCartney, three chosen sons, Robert (Katrina) Leslie, Merle (Cindy) Leslie, John (Helen) Leslie, two chosen daughters, Norma Leslie and Elizabeth Leslie, 24 grandchildren, great grandchildren, one brother, John McCartney (Patricia), one sister, Ruth Burns (Douglas), three brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother, Samuel McCartney and chosen son, James Leslie. Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB from where funeral service will be held on Sunday May 22, 2005 at 4:30 PM.
