Arthur May 06, 1927 - May 18, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) ARTHUR, Donald B. - 78, Halifax, passed peacefully away with his family at his side in the VG Site, QEII, on Wednesday, May 18, 2005. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Charles and Gladys (Burn) Arthur. Mr. Arthur retired as a Naval Lieutenant Firefighter after 35 years of service. He was dearly loved by all who knew him and will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years, Audrey; daughter, Donna Bellefontaine and son-in-law Joe; son, John and daughter-in-law Gail; daughter, Kim Organ and son-in-law Don; grandchildren, Sean, Mike, Laura, Holly, Ainslie, Ashlan; great-grandchild, Kelsey; great great-grandchild, Matthew; many other relatives and friends. Much appreciation to the staff on 3A ICU and 9A at the VG Site, QEII. Arrangements are entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 21, at 10 a.m. in the chapel.
