RODGERS, GERALD EDWARD The death of Gerald Edward Rodgers of Weaver Siding, NB occurred on May 20, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Weaver Siding on March 10, 1945, he was a son of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Colford) Rodgers. Gerry was a caregiver and former Funeral Director's Assistant with Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon. Gerald is survived by two sons, Danny Peterson (Cyndi) of Vancouver, BC and Ronald Rodgers (Kerry Hunter) of Weaver Siding, NB; one daughter Edwina of Hartland, NB; one brother William Rodgers (Wilma) of Noonan, NB; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his twin brother Raymond and an infant daughter Helena. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Sunday and Monday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home's Chapel on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at 11 AM with Father Mark Trzop officiating. Pallbearers are David, Gene, Paul and Raymond Colford, Albert Sturgeon and Fred Veno. Interment will follow at Holy Name of Mary Cemetery, Blissfield, NB.
