GRAY-GRANT, ETHEL THERESA (nee MacINNES) - Ethel Theresa passed away May 8, 2005 at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver at the age of 77. Ethel is survived by her five children Daphne (Eric), Jennifer (Michael), Heather (Steven), Geoffrey (Rachael), Andrea (Jim), and her eight grandchildren Claire, Duncan, Alison, Larissa, Theo, Keegan, Farley and Jack and her sisters Olwin Landry and Elaine MacInnes. She was predeceased by her brother Bill MacInnes, and her husband Denis. Born in Moncton, NB May 15, 1927, Ethel moved to Vancouver in 1952, where she met and married Denis. They raised their five children in West Point Grey and jointly ran the Western News. Ethel pursued her artistic interests by teaching weaving and pottery and by eventually becoming a pastel artist. Over the past three years she held three successful art shows, fulfilling a long-held dream. The funeral was held in St. Augustine's Catholic Church on May 13th.
