Stella GERLUS

Stella Pendulak (née Gerlus) Funeral arrangements by Chapel Lawn Funeral Home Peacefully on Wednesday May 18, 2005 at Bethania Personal Care Home, Stella passed away. Survived by her husband of 58 years Edward; son Gerry (Kelly) and their sons Jason and Nicholas (Heather); daughter Sharon and her children Alicia, Becky, Tyler, and Ryan; and great-grandchildren Montana, Darrell, Brianna, Hailey, and Patricia. Stella was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Mary Gerlus; brother Michael; and sister Olga Malenchak and her husband Harry. Mom was born in Winnipeg on June 25, 1922 and grew up in Fort Rouge. She worked at Woolworths and Eatons until her marriage to Ed on May 14, 1947. Mom and Dad moved to Dauphin in 1954 and lived there until 1962, when they purchased a home in Charleswood. They lived in Charleswood for 36 wonderful years watching their gardens grow and the deer wandering through the yard. For the past 15 months Mom has resided at Bethania Personal Care Home where she had the best of care from a loving and caring staff. Special thanks to Helen, Maria, Nancy and Chris.
