VITATERNA, Adam - Passed away suddenly on Wednesday January 5, 2005 in the Dominican Republic at the age of 11. Cherished son of Andrew and Marilena and best friend and brother to Nicolas and Livia. Loving grandson of Nicola and Precy Vitaterna of Niagara Falls and Frank and Rita De Marco of London. Dear great-grandson of Andrea Vitaterna of Italy. Predeceased by his grandmother Livia Vitaterna. Dearly loved nephew of David Vitaterna of St. David's, Carlo and Elizabeth De Marco and Joe and Rose Elia of London. Dear friend and cousin to Erica Vitaterna, Julia, Franco, Gabriel and Emily De Marco, and Mario and Daniel Elia. Adam is survived by many relatives and friends across Canada, the United States and Italy. Adam loved playing soccer and hockey and he was an animal lover who especially loved his guinea pig Sammie. He had an adventurous spirit, a loving soul and he touched the hearts of all he met. God now has a new angel in heaven. Friends are invited to call at the Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main St. visiting Monday 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass in celebration of Adam's life will be held on Wednesday January 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Should you have a favourite memory or photo of Adam, please bring it with you and place it in "Adam's Memory Box" at the funeral home. To honour his memory and keep his spirit alive, donations to a sports scholarship fund to be established in his name would be appreciated by his family.
